The analysts of Sanford C. Bernstein & Co and Societe Generale SA have concluded that the chances of liquefied natural gas exports to Asia have dropped significantly.

The agreement made China's position at the time of contract negotiations on the LNG supply much better.

David Ledesma, an independent consultant, stated that this situation can affect the desired volumes of LNG to China, and also affect the level of the LNG spot price in Asia.
