Gazpromneft anticipates external credit tightening amidst sanctions against Russia

Gazpromneft leaves open the possibility of the worsening of terms of loans from foreign banks amidst the sanctions of the West against the Russian Federation and changing of the credit rating of the Russian companies for the worse. CEO of Gazpromneft, A.Dyukov said.

About 2/3rds of the credit portfolio of Gazpromneft is the funds, attracted at European and North-American investors.

“Asian economy has got money. One of the possibilities is the expansion of cooperation with Asian financial institutions,” he said.

To date, the average borrowing costs of Gazpromneft makes up 3.17% a year. So, the rise in price of the external credits will not be aggravating for the company.
