Lukoil increases forecast of production growth in 2014 by 2%

In 2014, the largest Russian private oil company Lukoil plans to increase its oil production by 2% as compared with 2013, head of the company, Vagit Alekperov reported.

At the same time, he explained that the production forecast would depend on the development of the Western Qurna-2 field. In January, Alekperov said that the company expected increase in the production by 1.5% in the current year, given the start of the extraction at the Western Qurna-2 field.
