Gazprom may buy gas fields in Yakutia from Summa

Gazprom has been interested in buying four gas fields belonging to Summa’s subsidiary Yakutsk Fuel and Energy Company (YaTEK). The gas monopoly is going to assess the sites. With the new deposits Gazprom can expand its Yakutia gas production center, experts say.

Gazprom is going to announce an open request for proposals for the development of technical and economic proposals for the development of the Srednevilyuiskoye, Mastahskoye, Tolonskoye and Tymtaydahskoye sites, located in Yakutia, before the end of the month. The Vedomosti writes this on Monday, referring to the information, placed on the public procurement website. The starting price is 8 million rubles, the term of the contract performance is December this year. According to the website, the fields are interesting to Gazprom with a view to recover the raw material base of the company.
