Russia to provide Serbia with gas even in case of suspension of its transit through the Ukraine

Moscow has assured Belgrade that Russian gas will continue to be supplied to Serbia, even in case of suspension of its transit through the Ukraine, chairman of the Serbian People's Party Nenad Popovic states.

"Belgrade received official assurances from Moscow that Russian gas would continue to be delivered to Serbia, and the suspension of the transit through the Ukraine wouldn’t affect on this fact," - N.Popovich said in an interview to the Interfax.
