The Supreme Economic Court of the Ukraine has permitted Ukrnafta to sell more than 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which were produced by the company in 2006 and are located in the underground storage facilities of the country. The court ordered Naftogaz Ukrainy and Ukrtransgaz not to prevent Ukrnafta "in its ownership of gas to the total volume of 2.062 billion cubic meters, including its sale to industrial customers - producers of nitrogen fertilizers". The litigation of the companies over these disputed gas volumes has lasted in the Ukraine for several years.
