In January - May 2016 the release of polyethylene in Russia rises by 4%.

Within first five months of this year the polyethylene output in Russia increased by 5% and amounted to 694.3 thousand tons compared to the same period of 2015. The main production growth has fallen on the high-density polyethylene (HDPE), according to a survey of ScanPlast for MRC.
In May the total volume of polyethylene production in Russia exceeded 137.6 thousand tons, while a month earlier the figure was around 128 thousand tons.
