Lukoil wants to develop oil production in Iran, Mexico and in the Caspian Sea

Iran, Iraq, Mexico and Russia's area of the Caspian Sea and the Komi Republic are priority areas for the oil development of Lukoil. This was stated by its head Vagit Alekperov at the annual meeting of shareholders, held today.

"We have every opportunity to develop projects in the upstream. The priority will be given to projects with a preferential tax regime," - said Alekperov.

Among these privileged regions, the Lukoil’s president mentioned the Caspian Sea, Komi and Iraq.
