NLMK-Kaluga smelts 3 mln tons of steel

The 3 millionth ton of steel has been produced by electrometallurgy plant of new generation NLMK-Kaluga, launched in July 2013.
According to the enterprise, the capacity of the plant for the production of steel and long products makes up 1.5 million tons of steel and 0.9 million tons of rolled steel per year, and the company has a unique equipment in Russia, allowing it to produce the broadest range of long steel for construction application of premium brands.
