Oil projects of Iran and Syria estimated at $3.6 billion

The Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Khalqi has said in an interview that Iranian-Syrian joint oil projects, which, inter alia, provided for the construction of oil and gas pipelines, were estimated at $3.6 billion.

According to him, the recently signed agreement on the Iranian nuclear program freed $150-170 billion of previously arrested Iranian assets and untied the hands of Iran in terms of helping the allied countries in the region.
