In January – August 2013, Russia increased shifting in explorative drilling by 4.7% to 575,400 m, and shifting in production drilling by 4.6% to 13,932.5 m. Within the period, Surgutneftegaz drilled 146,800 m of explorative wells (-7.4%), and 3,381.1 m of production wells (+8.6%). Lukoil increased shifting in explorative drilling by 31.6% to 129,100 m, and shifting in production drilling by 6.9% to 2,426.1 m.
