Rosneft and Surgutneftegaz will suffer the most in the event of adoption of a new initiative of the Ministry of Finance for the tax on mineral extraction (MET). This is stated in the analytical report of Bank of America.
The tax burden of Rosneft may increase by 171 billion rubles in 2016 (14% of EBITDA in 2016), Lukoil - 70 billion rubles (7%), Surgutneftegaz - 48 billion (14%), Gazpromneft - 37 billion rubles (8%), Bashneft - 15 billion rubles (9%), Tatneft - 20 billion (10%).
Dividends of the Russian oil companies will be reduced by 10-30%, as analysts think.
