Ritek has held 16-interval layer hydrofracturing per one round-trip operation for the first time in Russia

​Ritek JSC along with the oil service company "Weatherford" for the first time in Russia successfully held the operation of 16-interval layer hydrofracturing with the application of flexible piping and compression pipes per one round-trip operation.

The operation was held within 11 days at one of the wells of the deposit n.a. V. Vinogradov in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area. The length of the vertical site of the well is 2,392 m, of horizontal; - 1,424 m. In the process of works innovation technologies were used: they allowed to reduce the period of construction and development of the well due to the lowering of specially arranged downhole equipment for the operative intensification of layers per one round-trip operation on the flexible piping and compression pipes.

A particular feature of the applied technology compared with other systems is in the use of mechanically operated collar and packer which is activated by a working column of flexible piping and compression pipes. Such equipment allows to hold almost unlimited number of stages of layer hydrofracturing per one round-trip operation by the “up-down” principle. After holding layer hydrofracturing in the first zone the packer is deactivated with the help of the Auto J-Slot mechanism.
