Ritek to purchase 100% in Yugranefteprom

FAS has approved the purchase of 1005 in Yugranefteprom by Ritek.
Ritek, Lukoil’s affiliate, plans to purchase 100% in Yugranefteprom.
Yugranefteprom is connected with Total exploration development Timano-Pechora, which in its turn belongs to total.
Why Ritek is interested in the company?
On June 30th 2014 Total exploration development Timano-Pechora won the auction for the right of geological study, exploration and hydrocarbons extraction at 3 license sites in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area.
Total gained the right to use the subsoil for 25 years at the Yemangalsky-1, 2, 3 sites.
Total plans to put the deposit into operation in the JV with Lukoil.
