Rosneft increases sidetracking operations by 16%

In the framework of the plan to increase the production at new fields and increase in return on brown fields Rosneft has increased the number of sidetracking operations by 16% as compared with figures in 2014. Thus, the company completed 1136 operations to restore wells by sidetracking. In November of this year, Rosneft became the first Russian oil company that overcame the barrier of 1000 sidetracking operations, the press centre of Rosneft reported.
