Moscow oil refinery increased oil processing by 3.8% to 11.08 mln tons in 2013

 

The Moscow oil processing plant of Gazprom increased oil processing by 3.8% to 11.08 million tons in 2013, an oil company said.

Light oil products output increased by 4.2% and made up 6.2 million tons. Aviation fuel production has increased by 6.5% to 657.9 thousand tons. Bitumen output is up by 48.1% to 1.07 million tons. The depth of oil processing made up 72.3% last year. The Moscow oil refinery completed the first stage of updating programme in 2013. It has enabled the company to start producing motor fuel of the 5th eco-standard 2.5 years ahead of time, set by the technical regulations of Russia. There has been put in operation the catalytic gasoline hydrotreaters and light naphtha isomerization units, and reconstructed the diesel hydrotreater. RIA Novosti reports.
