"Mechel"’s transaction for the sale of foreign assets gets hung up. Maidan throws Ziuzin over ther bridge.

The deal to sell the Donetsk electrometallurgic plant (DEMP), which is "Mechel"’s Ukrainian asset, is suspended, «URA.Ru» states.

DEMP which experienced difficulties, was removed from operation in January. Now the negotiations on the sale of the plant are suspended due to the unstable situation in the neighboring country, "Kommersant" sources stated. "Mechel" refuses to comment this.
