Turkmenistan is ready for oil risks

​The active work in the industrial sector and cooperation in the export development are able to support the growth of the national economy of Turkmenistan and reduce risks connected with the volatility of world prices for raw materials.

In total all reforms aimed for the strengthening of market mechanisms in the economy of Turkmenistan contribute to the increase of its flexibility and competitiveness in the conditions of integrated and changing world.

The Government programs on the production of import replacement products and increase of export volumes of goods produced in the country. These measure aim for the development of the chemicals industry, light and food industries, car manufacturing, agriculture, domestic pharmacy.

Turkmenistan, according to BP’s report, is the 4th in the world by the gas reserves.

Currently the country is at the intermediate stage of its economic development.
