In January-February, Bashkortostan decreased export by a quarter

In January-February, Bashkortostan decreased export supplies by 24.1% as compared with the same period of the last year to $191.8 million, the Bashkortostan Customs reports. According to the Customs, significant reduction of chemical products export (by 53.5%) influenced the total rate of the export.

The 42.8% fall on products of chemical products (diphenylol propane, rubber substance, butane, urea and polyethylene), 19.6% on engineering products (gaz-turbine jets and their details, helicopters), 16.8% on metals and metal products (hot-rolled rods), 13.5% on mineral products (liquid pyrolysis product), etc.

The main exporters of the republic were Ufaorgsintez, Ufa engine-building industrial association, Beloretsk metallurgical plant, Enterprise of Industrial Railway Transport, Sintex-kauchuk, KumAPP, Bashneft, SG-Trans Okyabrsk subsidiary.
