Kazakhstan hopes to receive Kashagan oil in the current year

Kazakhstan hopes to receive Kashagan oil in the current year, expert on oil and gas issues Sergei Smirnov thinks.

“The maintenance of oil production at forecast at the level of 83 million tons in 2014 means that the government, in spite of serious problems with start of works at Kashagan, hopes for resumption of the raw material extraction at this field in the current year,” - Sergei Smirnov said.
