The Ukraine increases Russian gas imports

On March 20th, Naftogaz Ukraine increased Russian gas collection to 71.8 million cubic m, the maximum level since the beginning of the month. Gas imports to the state exceeded the volume only at the beginning of February, when the weather was much colder. In the first week of March, daily imports were 40 million cubic m, and in the second decade they were 60 million cubic m. Within March 1 – 20th, Naftogaz got 1.121 billion cubic m of gas from Gazprom, compared to 1.621 billion cubic m in February. If the current recovery rates continue, then in March purchase can be 1.7 billion cubic m for $456 million, at $268.5 per 1,000 cubic m.
