PetroNeft to double extraction in Russia executing a new drilling program

​PetroNeft says that the contract for drilling of 11 wells, 5 of which will be horizontal, is signed with “SGK-Burenie” – affiliate of Eurasia Drilling – the largest drilling contractor in Russia.

PetroNeft pays particular attention to the fact that at the realization of a program of drilling works “SGK-Burenie” will attract Schlumberger to make measurements in the process of drilling and accompanying operations held at the horizontal segments. The drilling unit that will be used for drilling of these wells is equipped with a top drive allowing to pass long horizontal parts of wells taking into account high control over this process. Now this drilling unit is being mobilized and the first well is expected to be drilling in early May 2015.
