Polyus Gold and an affiliate of Russian Platinum to fight for Jerui

​The largest Russia gold producer Polyus Gold and a structure of the businessman, M. Bazhaev, will fight for the put up for auction for $100 mln gold deposit Jerui in Kirghizia, the Government of Kirghizia reported.

In mid February Kirghizia once again announced the tender for the right to develop the 2nd largest gold deposit Jerui with the reserves of over 97 mln tons of gold.

In total 3 companies applied for participation in the tender – Vostok-geoldobycha, Aldanzoloto – affiliate of Polyus Gold – and Government owned Kyrgyzaltyn, is reported.

The press service of Polyus Gold has confirmed the filing of an application.

According to the list of affiliated people of Vostok-geoldobycha, its only shareholder is Amur-zoloto- structure excluded from the artel staratelei Amura (in the structure of Russian Platinum of M. Bazhaev).
