Government has allowed Ukrgasdobycha to produce low quality diesel fuel until September

​The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the validity of exclusions of the technical regulations for diesel fuel produced at the capacities of Ukrgasdobycha until September 1st.

The Minister of Energy, V. Demchishin, said that Ukrgasdobycha is to start diesel fuel production meeting the technical regulations much earlier than September 1st but the period of exclusions was approved with the necessary reserves.

In early March Ukrgasdobycha asked the Cabinet of Ministers to extend the validity of exclusions of the technical regulations for diesel fuel until September 1st.

The head of Ukrgasdobycha, O. Prokhorenko, said that the company plans to start the production of Euro-4 petrol at the industrial volumes after April 12th.

He said that the delay with the production turn to Euro-4 was connected with the reconsideration of conditions and value of equipment modernization which was reduced from 128 mln to 70 mln grivnas.
