The European Commissioner Oettinger is ready for a political meeting on the reverse of gas to Ukraine – EC.

Guenther Oettinger, the EU Energy Commissioner, is ready to hold a political meeting on the reverse supplies of gas from Slovakia to Ukraine, but is not going to negotiate in Bratislava on Thursday, the spokesman for the European Commission stated.

"It is not expected that the EU Energy Commissioner Oettinger will visit any quadrilateral meeting with representatives of Ukraine, Russia and Slovakia in Bratislava tomorrow", - the representative of the European Commission, who requested anonymity, stated. Earlier on Wednesday Yuriy Prodan, the RF Energy Minister, stated that the meeting is scheduled for Thursday in Brastislava. However, he later stated that the European Commission has not confirmed his participation, and Kiev sees no need to meet without the representatives of the EC, RIA "Novosti" informs.
