The largest Russian gold producer increases refining by 3%

On the results of the first quarter of 2014, the largest Russian gold producer Polyus Gold International Limited increased the production of precious metals by 3% to 331.3 thousand ounces or 10.3 tons as compared with the same period of the previous year, the company’s press centre reports.

The significant growth of the gold production took place at the Olimpiadinsky mine (+7%), the Verninskoye deposit (+187%) and the Kuranakhsky mine (+8%).
