The EC condemns Gazprom for “certain behavior”

The European Commission has formulated its attitude to the Russian gas corporation Gazprom. According to the European Commissioner for Competition, Margaret Vestager, Europe condemns the company itself and Russia as a whole for "certain behaviour". Vestager stated this at the event, dedicated to launch the European version of the American magazine Politico.

"Even if it seems a trivial statement, we don’t prosecute Gazprom or the Russian state, we prosecute a certain behaviour. From the preliminary data we can see that it leads to unfair prices and one of the treasures of the European Union is our internal market and competition in it, "- she said.
