Russia: In May, the production of polyethylene grew by 30.6%

According to the published data of the Russian Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat), in May 2015, the index of industrial production amounted to 94.5% as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, and in January-May 2015 - 97.7%. In May 2015, the index of chemical production made up 108.0% as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, and in January-May 2015 - 106.3%. The total volume of polymer production in May amounted to 637 thousand tons, which is by 15.8% more than in May of the previous year and by 5.9% more than in April 2015.
