By 2017, French Total to submit program of Absheron field development to SOCAR

The French company Total will submit a program for the project of the Absheron offshore field exploration and development for approval by SOCAR, the Azerbaijani company reports.
"The process of the program preparation will end this year. The terms of the final investment decision (FID) for the project haven’t changed, the process is still planned for 2017," – SOCAR noted.
According to SOCAR, Total plans to begin the drilling at the field in 2018 in order to start the production of the first gas in 2022.
