On June 25, 2016 Russia celebrates the Day of Inventors and Innovators. This holiday was introduced in the late 50s of the last century at the suggestion of the USSR Academy of Sciences and is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of June.
Since the beginning of 2016 to the present time the craft expert commission of the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine have received 2,458 ideas for consideration. Of those 1,446 were approved for implementation. 1109 innovations with economic effect from the implementation of 194 million roubles were introduced. The most active idea are from workers of mining and processing industry, production of hot-rolled plates, LPC №8 and oxygen plant.
