Upstream business unit of SOCAR plans to drill 90 new wells in 2017

Manufacturing group “Azneft” of Azerbaijani SOCAR plans to drill 88 new wells in 2017. The drilling operation will be completed at 89 wells, 45 new facilities will be commissioned.
Deputy Director General of “Azneft”, chief geologist A.Èminov stated during the discussion of the working programme of the company for 2017 that prospecting operation at “Goshadash” will be finished by the end of the year.
