Russia reduced oil exports by 4.9% to 92.8 mln. tons in Jan-May

Oil exports from Russia went down by 4.9% to 92.8 million tons in January-May 2014 year-on-year. Russia was leader on oil production in May.

in January-May 2014 the relative weight of oil export in the total volume of Russian export made up 32%, in the export of fuel and energy goods – 44.2% (33.6% and 47.1% respectively in Jan-May 2013).

According to a comparative data of Rosstat on oil production (excl.gas condensate) in the Russian Federation and other leading countries-exporters of this raw material, Russia produced 10.318 million barrels a day in May, while the OPEC countries – 29.765 million barrels a day (incl. Iraq and Saudi Arabia – 3.331 and 9.464 million barrels a day respectively). Saudi Arabia produced 9.579 million barrels a day, while the Russian Federation – 9.95 million barrels.
