Gazprom files lawsuit against Turkmengaz to Stockholm arbitration

The lawsuit was filed on June 8, but it has become known only now. The suit states that after the fall in export prices of gas in Europe, linked to oil prices, Gazprom ceased to be satisfied with the contract price for Turkmen gas, it began to pay the supplies at the price of break-even export to Europe and Turmengaz, in turn, accused the Russian company in the incomplete payment for the supplies.

Gazprom’s spokesman declined to comment on the lawsuit, and a representative of the Stockholm arbitration court didn’t respond to inquiry about the lawsuit.
