Medvedev: Nord Stream-2 is not a replacement of Turkish one

The project of Nord Stream expansion has arisen because of the difficulties in the implementation of gas pipeline projects for the delivery of gas from Russia to Europe via the Black Sea, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.

"A holy place is never empty. If there is no South Stream, there is Turkish stream. Turkish Stream is moving, maybe not as fast as we would like, but it is moving. And if this is so, then we have an idea of ​​the second line of Nord Stream, which delivers gas from Russia to Germany under the Baltic Sea,"- said Medvedev.
