Rosneft has refused from a license for a hydrocarbons site in Chechnya

​  Rosneft has refused from a license for a hydrocarbons site in Chezhnya, the company reports.

According to the company, the validity of the license for the North-Dzhalkinsky license site located in Chechnya expired on July 20th 2015.

Previously the head of the republic, R. Kadyrov, said that Rosneft might be among investors of a new oil refinery plant in the republic but the company was slow in this issue.

The issue of the construction of an oil refinery plant in Chechnya was considered in December 2014 at the meeting of the Government Committee for socio-economic development of the North-Caucasus federal region. On the results of the meeting the Vice-Prime Minister, A. Khloponin, said that there was the order on the construction of an oil refinery plant in Chechnya and Rosneft dealt with that project. The processing volume is about 1 mln tons.
