“Gazprom geological exploration” has discovered new layers at Imbinsky deposit in Krasnoyarsk region

New hydrocarbon layers have been discovered at the Imbinsky gas deposit by “Gazprom geological exploration” Ltd – operator of geological exploration works at the Imbinsky license site of Gazprom PJSC (the Boguchansk district of the Krasnoyarsk region).

In conformity with the program of geological exploration works, in 2010-2012 the company held 3D seismic exploration at the Imbinsky deposit at which industrial gas flow was discovered. The results of the analysis of geophysical materials, drilling data and tests have served the basis for the operative assessment of reserves. The growth of C1 geological free gas reserves at the Imbinsky deposit made up 12.5 bln cubic m, helium – 9.8 thousand cubic m.

In July the reserves were approved by “State Committee for mineral reserves” and put up on the state balance of mineral resources of Russia.
