Aganneftegasgeologiya has discovered a perspective oil layer

​“Aganneftegasgeologiya” OJSC (an affiliate of RussNeft) realizes the program of geological exploration aimed for the subsoil study and growth of recoverable hydrocarbons reserves.

On the results of seismic exploration held by the 3D common-depth-point method in the field season of 2013-2014, an exploratory well was drilled at the Roslavlsky deposit with the opening of Jurassic layers. HThe depth of 2P well is 3,240 m. While testing of YV1-1 layer the industrial oil flow has been discovered.

The realization of geological exploration program at the deposits developed by the company is one of the priority directions of the company’s activity. Currently the analysis and complex interpretation of the data accumulated at the 3D common-depth-point method seismic survey at the West-Mogutlorsky license site is being held. The total area of studies in 2014-2015 made up 500 sq km. New data will be the basis of the perspective program of geological exploration works at the company’s license sites.
