Prirazlomnoe has doubled oil extraction

Gazprom Neft has announced of the launch of the 2nd operational well at the Prirazlomnoe deposit with the output of 1.8 thousand tons a day. As a result the production will grow by more than twice against 300 thousand tons in 2014.

The depth of the new well reaches 4.5 thousand m. In general the project presupposes the drilling of 36 wells, 19 of which are meant for loading of technological liquids and one will be the intake well.

The development of the Prirazlomnoe started in December 2013. Oil production at the Prirazlomnoe platform is based on the “zero emission” principle. It means that the equipment preventing emissions into the sea for any possible liquids has been installed at the platform. The production waste is either loaded back into the layers or shipped out for processing.
