Russia may resume construction of South Stream

Russia may resume the construction of South Stream. Deutsche Welle’s journalists saw "a signal of reconciliation" in statements of the Russian president Vladimir Putin about Bulgaria.

This week in the Crimea, the President said that Russia would work with Bulgaria, despite all the difficulties in the implementation of projects, including such as with the South Stream project. Some observers in Bulgaria felt that it was "a clear signal of reconciliation" and "completely new tone in the bilateral relations," and saw it as "a good chance" for the South Stream gas pipeline.
