Turkmenistan has reported of discovery of a new gas deposit

​A strong industrial gas flow was received at the Bagly-1 site in Karakumy (Maryisky region of Turkmenistan). The daily output of hydrocarbons raw materials makes up over 1.5 mln cubic m.

It happened right after the first exploratory well reached the depth of 4.690 thousand m there and the operational columns were lowered by 230 m higher.

The deposit is located a few dozens km off the Galkynysh deposit.

Currently the open hole testing is carried out at the object. After the completion of gas dynamics research works, the high capacity drilling unit will be dismantled and taken to the neighboring site – Minara-3 – where the discovery will start.
