In January – August, VMZ made 883,800 tons of pipes of different assortment, including 429,200 tons of large diameter pipes. Railway wheels production increased by 10% to 563,000.

In August, the plant made 71,800 railway wheels, the same as in August 2011, and 130,000 tons of different pipes, including 75,000 tons of large diameter pipes.
