Gas pricing formula of Gazprom for CNPC not to be tied up to Japanese oil

The gas pricing formula of Gazprom for CNPC won’t be tied up to Japanese Crude Cocktail (JCC), the Head of Gazprom export, Alexander Medvedev reported.
“We have arranged, there will be no Henry Hub in the pricing formula and we are looking for an alternative to JCC. There are some. The negotiations will be very active”, he said.
Medvedev added, the advance payment wouldn’t be discussed, as it could be a way for Chinese party to reduce the price.
