Igor Sechin forecasts growth in Rosneft’s net profit by 28%

The President of Rosneft Igor Sechin forecasts a growth in Rosneft’s net profit by 28%. He presented this data at a meeting with the Premier D. Medvedev. The company is going to extract 207 million tons of oil and 42 billion cubic m of gas this year. Allocations to the Russian budget from its consolidated group can reach 2.6 trillion rubles.

In 2013, Rosneft and Gazprom have initiated an indirect discussion, what company is the leading Russian tax payer. In April, Mr. Sechin stated that Rosneft would annually give nearly 3 trillion rubles to the state budget concerning purchase of BP-TNK, and Gazprom would give 1.5 trillion rubles whereas it is much larger. In June, the chief of Gazprom A. Miller claimed that in 2012 his company gained 1.9 trillion rubles to the budget, and Rosneft gave only 1.7 trillion rubles.
