Sakhalin Energy to produce more than 10.5 million tons of LNG this year

Sakhalin Energy will fulfill its production plan and produce more than 10.5 million tons of LNG this year, the CEO, Roman Dashkov reported.

“Our extraction is stable, though is liable to fluctuations due to one drilling rig and low amount of wells at each platform”, Dashkov noted. As he said, peak extraction at Molikpaq platform operating at Piltun-Astokhskoe deposit for more than 14 years is left behind. Currently the company stabilizes the extraction and solves the problems of reconstruction of this platform and the drilling rig.
