ChTPZ to increase pipe supply by 40% in 2014

One of the largest pipe manufacturers in Russia is about to increase the supply of LDPs by 40% up to 1 million tons for Sila Sibiri, the Southern Corridor and other projects of Gazprom, LUKOIL and Transneft, the company stated. The Russian gas monopolist has started the construction of the pipeline Sila Sibiri on September 1st after the 10-years of negotiations with China.

Gazprom also keeps the construction of South Corridor, part of the South Stream project. Currently, it is blocked because of non-compliance with the Third Energy Package, which does not allow gas suppliers to control the infrastructure.
