Affiliate of Belorussneft to drill the 1st inclined well at the Izvestinsky deposit in Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area

Yangpur OC, an affiliate of Belorussneft, has started the drilling of the inclined well at the East-Metelny site at the Izvestinsky site in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area. The project depth if the 1st well is 3.25 thousand m. C3 recoverable reserves of the East-Metelny site are assessed at 13.5 mln tons, a few layers of the chalk complex might turn out to be perspective. For active development of the rest reserves of the deposit the drilling of 3 operational wells is planned in 2016, 2 of which are extraction wells and 1 injection.
