Slovakia plans to load gas reverse capacities to the Ukraine by 100% in winter

Slovakia expects gas supplies growth to the Ukraine in the coming winter and might construct the additional branch so as to help the Ukraine to reduce the dependence on the direct supplies from Russia, CEO of Eustream, T. Marechek, said. “We are ready if our customers ask to load 100% of capacities and we will ship gas in any conditions. I expect this winter the gas pipeline to be loaded by 100%”, he said. In the coming year the company might construct the additional 7-km long site which will connect the gas pipeline systems of Slovakia and the Ukraine and will allow to increase the volume of supplies to the east if necessary.
