SOCAR started drilling a new bore hole on the Caspian Sea

SOCAR hasstarted the drilling of a new well at shallow-water part of the deposit “Gyuneshli” in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea.

There is information that “Socar-AQS” Ltd carries out the drilling operation. It is said in a statement that the target depth of the well makes up 3450 metres at the platform “Gyuneshli-13”. According to the forecast, a daily well rate will make up 100 tons of oil.
