FAS to consider case on Rosneft access to Sakhalin-2 on December, 10th

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has once again postponed consideration of the case for the provision of access to the capacity of the Sakhalin Energy’s pipeline to Rosneft to December 10th, the press centre of the Ministry reported to the RIA Novosti.

"It was postponed to December, 10," – the agency’s interlocutor reported by results of the proceedings, which took place on Monday.

Rosneft is seeking an access to the pipeline of the Sakhalin-2’s project to reduce the cost of its joint LNG project with the American ExxonMobil in Sakhalin. Gazprom has refused the oil company, arguing that it is its intention to expand the only Russian LNG plant within Sakhalin-2. Rosneft filed a lawsuit against the project operator Sakhalin Energy with the requirement to provide the access to the gas pipeline's capacity.
