SOCAR reduced oil extraction by 1.5% in Jan-October

Jan-October 2015 SOCAR extracted 6 mln 909.1 thousand tons of oil, which is by 1.5% lower than in Jan-October 2014.
In October 2014 SOCAR extracted 695 thousand tons of oil.
In 2014 the total volume of oil extraction in Azerbaijan made up 41.9 mln tons, 8 mln 402.5 thousand tons of which were extracted by SOCAR.
Oil extraction by SOCAR in 2015 is forecast at 8.3 mln tons, the Vice-President of SOCAR for extraction and transportation, R. Gurbanov.
On the results of 2015 the Government of Azerbaijan expects oil extraction at 41 mln 234 thousand tons.
